As a founding member, Veronica has a heart for women and the unique circumstances women share. Her personal interaction and background in Human Resources aids in understanding the day to day real life situations women experience. Veronica’s desire is to provide a platform for women to embrace the concept of trusting relationships, while providing a safe place to discuss and work through real life issues that are unique to women. Veronica has been married for over thirty years. She enjoys the outdoors, reading, laughing, visits with grandchildren and traveling with family.

Betty is the coordinator and overseer of all things SheSpeaks! She is also a founding member and represents SheSpeaks’ Inc. interests in the community and through media. Betty is passionate and committed to helping all generations of women discover and embrace their true identity. Betty studied at The Borough of Manhattan Community College in New York and received an Associate Degree from CLST in Columbus, Georgia. Betty enjoys actively serving as an Ambassador and Corporate Chaplain with the West Alabama Chamber of Commerce. Happily married four decades, Betty and her husband have two wonderful children and adore their priceless grandbabies.

Lynn has always had a heart to serve the underserved, and volunteers her time and efforts at United Way, DCH Cancer Center, and West Alabama AIDS Outreach. Lynn graduated from Birmingham School of Business and served 28 years at Birmingham Trust National Bank before retiring from her position as Assistant Vice President and Benefits Coordinator. Lynn continues to serve in various community events throughout Tuscaloosa, including as SheSpeaks' Inc. Chief Administrative Officer. Both Lynn and her husband are enjoying retirement living and spending lots of time with family. However, the best of times for them is golfing and spoiling their grandchildren!

As the leader of SheSpeaks' Inc. Corporate Sponsorship and Fundraising Committee, Asenath brings a wealth of experience from her roles in the higher education sector as a counselor, advisor, instructor, and registrar. Drawing on 15 years in the education field, Asenath helps individuals, families, and institutions achieve success through speaking engagements, consulting, and coaching. Asenath is the CEO of Edison Educational Enterprises and co-author of the international bestseller, "Success Beyond Academics: How to Set Expectations for Life''. Asenath’s desire to see women reach their full potential and become their best self fuels her passion for her role in SheSpeaks.

By day, Destiny is a dedicated middle school special education teacher. Destiny has a genuine love for people that inspires her to make a change, one child at a time. Destiny is passionate about being a positive role model to her students and teaches them that every person has what it takes to make a difference in the world. By night and on weekends, Destiny is a dynamic author and accomplished entrepreneur. The process of learning to self-publish her books and manage her online store, blogs, and YouTube tutorials has given her a high-level of expertise in editing videos, content marketing, and social media management that she brings with her in her role as Media Specialist at SheSpeaks.

Emma serves as the spiritual foundation of SheSpeaks, faithfully covering the ministry in prayer while offering wisdom, encouragement, and steadfast support to its leadership and the women it serves. Her quiet strength, unwavering faith, and servant’s heart make her a trusted source of hope and inspiration.

With many years of service in healthcare, Emma has devoted her life to caring for others with compassion and excellence. A natural encourager, she is passionate about empowering women to discover their God-given purpose, embrace their identity in Christ, and walk confidently in their calling.

Emma is the published author of two books and a gifted culinary artist who prepares comforting meals that nourish both body and soul. A native of Moundville, Alabama, she is the proud mother of two sons and eleven cherished grandchildren.
