As I opened my Bible to the 20th Chapter of John verses 24 and-25, I see that Thomas said “unless I see the nail mark in Jesus hands and put my fingers where the nails were and put my hands into His side, I will not believe…”

In our season of dismay where we lose courage and where fear comes in, now understand me, I’m not saying that fear resides or dwells in our lives… No, because 1John 4:18 tells us that perfect love cast out fear. But like Thomas, things happen that shakes us up, that catches us off guard and we begin to doubt. Look, if it happened to Thomas, it will happen to us at some time or another.

I thank God for Thomas because Jesus shows us His love and He comes to show Himself to Thomas behind locked doors and let me prophesy to someone today; that whatever you may be facing right now, some of you may be behind a closed door spiritually and you don’t know how things are going to work out. When I’m talking about behind doors, I’m talking about a door concerning a job, or a door concerning your health, or a door concerning your children, or a door concerning your finances. I want to encourage you to know even in the midst of whatever is going on in your life, just like Jesus told Thomas, stop doubting and believe. Jesus is able to work it out and can I tell you that Jesus is your door. He is your way out.

Jesus goes on in the passage saying that blessed are those that have not seen but yet believe. Today even though you may not be able to see your breakthrough, but you just believe that because of His word, that it’s going to come to pass just for you.

I want to encourage you today my sisters to continue to hold on and trust God even in the midst of what you’re going through because He will come through for you. I don’t care what door the enemy has locked, Jesus through His Word will come behind the locked doors and He will work it out just for you.

I Love You and Be Blessed.

Question??? Have you ever considered that the person that you are the quickest to judge and have the hardest time being near is the same person that is connected to your destiny? Not only is this person connected to your destiny, but also connected to your breakthrough. Sometimes there is a need to release a person from the clutches of our messy attitudes and seriously realize that every woman in our life is in our life because God has placed her in our life for His purpose. We must learn to be still and listen for directions on how to proceed through these circumstances.

We must really, really realize that we are Daughters of the Most High GOD, Creator of ALL, and commit ourselves to a life of love. Love for all, not for some! It is then that we will truly realize that everything outside of love is not of God. We must submit to God and stop creating stuff in our own mind that is meaningless and of no consequence. If God has shown you a person, believe me it is not to judge or condemn them, it is to love them, and to pray for them. We are to be a Sisterkeeper to all of our sisters, not just those who are like us or those we like! Remember we all have a past and a story (Romans 12:3-8). We should always remember that God has a plan for our life and if He has allowed a certain sister to cross our path, then that must be a part of His plan.

So many of us have experienced hurt and have been broken. So many of us carry shame and guilt, never really getting to the root of the pain. So, I pose another question; Are you willing to look beyond the hurt or will you only see and respond to the result of the hurt? Are you willing to take the time to develop a trusting relationship with a sister and help her get to the root of the anger, hurt and pain that she is carrying and responding to? It can be so easy to judge or label a sister based on what we see…but what about taking the time to understand the hurt behind the behavior? And I’m going to go ahead and say it…What hurt have you not addressed or are you still carrying around that causes you to judge so quickly?

We must stop negatively judging ourselves and others. We must learn to extend grace and forgiveness to ourselves and to our sisters. Judging in this manner is meaningless and a waste of time. God has created each one of us with a specific plan and purpose. We all have a walk that is ours alone. Let’s celebrate each other and encourage one another in our walk. We all will at one time or another walk through a valley. We must be careful not to turn on each other during this journey.

We really should focus on understanding the valley experience and build our faith, knowing that Our Father will lead each one of us through. How sweet would it be if there were Sisterkeepers in position waiting to cheer you on along your journey and to celebrate with you at the end? What a blessing it would be if we could trust each other enough to share our experiences in an effort to encourage others and in doing so bring honor, glory and praise to Our Father for the breakthrough. Here’s the thing! We Really Need Each Other!

We are royalty and God loves us so much! Let our prayer be to love as He loves.

The First of the Year is not only a time of reflection, it is also a great time to schedule a Heart Examine. As American Heart Month and Valentine’s Day approaches, let’s step up and submit to a test of the Heart.

We have just experienced a year filled with highs and lows, celebrations and defeats, consequences to choices that we’ve made and the stuff that just happens while participating in life. I know I have made some unwise choices and some decisions that took me backwards. Focused and determined not to make those mistakes in this new year. I will create order in my reflection time. I have made a “Things Not To Do List for 2019.”

We have already taken the hit for those left turns that should have been right. We hopefully have learned to look for the good in the lessons provided and as SisterKeepers’ say “keepittamoving.” Let’s let go of any bitterness and unforgiveness with the evidence of forgiveness. You know, we can say we forgive someone and there is no evidence of forgiveness. By that I mean, you feel the same, you don’t feel relief from that thing or person. There is no fruit, no peace, and no change. When bitterness is truly removed, there will be evidence of fruit flourishing in that space.

Let’s release any ill feelings regarding everything we have carried over from 2018. Philippians 4:8 (NKJV): Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy; meditate on these things. Let’s purge all things that are not lovely as well as those things that don’t produce fruit in our lives, all the thoughts and judgmental mindsets that keep us from growing.

Releasing Bitterness and Unforgiveness is like pouring spiritual drano into our hearts. Once all that garbage has been removed, our heart will begin to function so much better!

Proverbs 15:13 (AMP) says, A heart full of joy and goodness makes a cheerful face, but when a heart is full of sadness the spirit is crushed. A cheerful countenance is visual proof that our God Is Love, that His gift of eternal life in heaven is waiting for us. Wow, let’s strive to let go of bitterness and unforgiveness in 2019!

Let’s Get Heart Healthy!
