Happy February, Queens! AND Happy Valentine’s Day!
There is one thing that I know to be true, and that is that we Love to Love. No matter what the circumstances, we are driven by Love. God is Love and Love Makes Everything Wonderful. For that reason alone, we must constantly check the condition of our heart. Proverbs 4:23 AMPC tells us to “keep and guard your heart with all vigilance and above all that you guard, for out of it flow the springs of life". "Above all else, guard your heart, for Everything you do flows from it". (NIV). This verse is telling us that We must protect our heart, and that the condition of our heart determines what flows into our lives. We must learn to cast down the negative thoughts that sometime come. We must take the high road every time and submit to the Love of our Father, even when it does not feel good. Our thoughts shape our very being. Our hearts are tied to the One who created us and Loves us with an everlasting and forgiving Love. He is the One Who Loves unconditionally, without ridicule or condemnation. God is forgiving, extending grace and mercy every single day. His plan and purpose for us are good and He does not keep our plan or purpose a secret. If we condition our hearts to focus and listen to what He is saying, we will see that He will guide us. He is our guide even when we fall or our paths collide, even when we don’t understand or like what is happening. We must not question or fear, we Must Love.... for Love Makes Everything Wonderful!
I know that it is technically still winter, but the prospect of spring has my heart pumping extra fast! Visions of rainy days and flowers blooming have been entertaining me for a few weeks now. Metaphorically, I see seeds that were sown long ago, budding and blooming all around me. Queens we are approaching exciting times. As Queen Betty always says, “It’s not only our turn… It’s our time”! Let’s get our hearts right and ready to celebrate all of the blooms this spring brings!
