(Isa. 6:1-13). This is the year and season to let somethings die and to let others burst forth, flourishing, maturing, in the newness and freshness of new growth and productive eternal fruit.
King Uzziah was among Judah's best Kings. He led the kingdom of God unto a flourishing prosperity era. But at the height of his power, he acted foolishly and was struck with leprosy. Success can bring danger when we stray away from God. This reminds me that forgiveness does not necessarily do away with the consequences of sin. Everyone is without excuses if they refuse to give glory to God. ( Rom: 1:20-23). Isaiah had the same truth proclaimed in God’s throne room, that the earth is full of God's glory. When we have a vision of heaven's room, the experience and encounter prompts us to do what God wants. These dramatic encounters with God causes us to make major changes and choices in our life. We will cry out as Isaiah did, “Woe is me, for I am undone”. Because I am a man of unclean lips. And dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips. He has called each one of us to respond to Him as Isaiah did, for my eyes have seen the King- The Lord of Host. God reveals Himself through what He has made. Creation shows not only that He exists but that He is just, righteous and holy beyond our comprehension. God initiates each and every encounter and meeting that leads to a specific assignment, calling purpose and changes in our lives. This is the divine exception rather than the rule. We must apply biblical principles to making choices about how to use our God given gifts, skills, talents and abilities, in whatever opportunities the Lord leads us to and whatever doors He opens. We must seek Him and find divine directions as we look for our next steps to take ( Pro. 3:1-6). Our earth is calling, waiting, groaning and depending on us to be faithful in the task and our responsibilities that God has currently predestined , chosen, given, equipped, and commanded us to do in our family, at work, our communities, schools and church.
